You likely sensed the dripping sarcasm in my words yet, this is an accurate portrayal of just how stupid this administration thinks we all are. What exactly is their definition of free?
Rational people
understand "free" to mean "without cost" correct? Where did all of the
costs of community college go? Are the professors working for "free"?
Are the administrative and operational staff working for "free"? Are the
building construction costs and maintenance "free"? Of course not.
So, where did all of these costs go? They are simply passed on to all of us as the cost of every other government program is. The Left loves programs like this, which appeal to relatively small segments of our population, because the costs are passed on to all of us in the form of higher taxes. But, the benefits are concentrated to a small group which they can then bribe for votes.
If you've ever asked yourself "where does all of our taxpayer money go?" Here's your answer; to programs like this. There are too many private and public options for student loans to count and the government's intervention in the student-loan market has already led to a student-loan debt bubble, the dynamics of which resemble the housing-crisis without the collateral of property to stop the hemorrhage.
Please President Obama, the American people are pleading, please take a note from the Hippocratic oath doctors abide by and "do no harm" first. You are not "helping", you are destroying.
